Terms of Service

Last updated: 12 July 2026

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

Koda is provided by Intels Hub Ltd ("Koda", "we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales, of 82A James Carter Road, Mildenhall, IP28 7DE, United Kingdom. These terms govern your access to and use of Koda's website, application and any related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2. Not affiliated with HM Government

Koda is an independent, privately-operated tool. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of HM Government, the Civil Service, or any government department or agency. References to Civil Service grades, behaviours, strengths, and the Success Profiles framework describe the publicly available assessment framework that Koda helps you present evidence against — they do not imply any official relationship or guarantee of outcome with any recruiting body.

3. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to date.

4. What Koda does — and doesn't — do

Koda helps you identify, structure and present evidence from your own real experience for UK Civil Service applications. Every generated bullet, statement, email or interview answer is intended to be grounded in evidence you provide — Koda does not invent facts, achievements, qualifications or experience on your behalf. You remain solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and ensuring the accuracy, honesty and completeness of any content you submit as part of a real application. You must be able to genuinely discuss and stand behind everything in your application, including at interview.

Koda does not guarantee any particular outcome, including but not limited to sift success, interview invitations, or job offers. Application outcomes depend on many factors outside our control, including the genuine strength of your underlying experience and the judgement of the assessing panel.

5. Plans, billing and cancellation

Koda offers the following plans, described in full on our pricing page:

  • Free — no payment required.
  • One Pass — a one-time, non-recurring payment that unlocks full generation for a single application.
  • Career and Career Plus Annual — recurring subscriptions (billed monthly or annually) that unlock unlimited applications for the duration of the subscription.

Payments are processed securely by our third-party payment processor. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel a subscription at any time from Settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you'll retain access until then. We don't provide partial refunds for unused time within a billing period, except where required by law.

If you're a consumer in the UK, you generally have a 14-day right to cancel a digital service purchase under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Because Koda provides immediate access to digital content and services upon payment, by completing a purchase you acknowledge that this cancellation right ends once you begin using the paid features of that purchase, in line with those regulations. Where a paid feature hasn't yet been used, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we'll consider a refund. This doesn't affect any other rights you have under applicable consumer protection law.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the CV, career information, and any other content you submit to Koda ("Your Content"). By submitting Your Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process, store and use it solely to provide the Service to you. You're responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any information you submit, including where it relates to or affects third parties (for example, naming colleagues or former employers).

You own the specific generated output Koda produces for you and may use it for your own application purposes. Koda's underlying software, methodology, prompts, design and branding remain the property of Intels Hub Ltd and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or to submit false, fraudulent or misleading information as part of a real job application.
  • Submit another person's personal data without their consent.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service's operation or security.
  • Resell or provide commercial access to the Service without our written agreement.
  • Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organisation.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, with notice where reasonably practicable.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep it accurate and reliable, but we don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated content will be free from mistakes — you should always review generated content before submitting it as part of a real application.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Intels Hub Ltd's total liability to you arising from or in connection with the Service is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. If you're a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

9. Changes to the Service or these terms

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Service or for legal reasons. We'll update the "last updated" date above, and where changes are material, we'll take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from these terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, save that if you're a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts, and mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence will continue to apply.
